Using Bluetooth is more complicated than going to your carrier’s website but you won’t have to pay for each ringtone you download if you use songs or sound files you already have on your computer or get for free off the internet. The instructions that come with the device will give you detailed directions on how to transfer files from your computer to your phone.

A data cable that fits your phone is another way to download ringtones. Again you can get one from your local electronics or cell phone store and like Bluetooth you will be able to download ringtones without paying for each one. A data cable connects your phone to your computer via the USB drive and allows you to transfer files to your phone. Normally when you connect your phone to your computer using the USB port a list of options will appear, one of which will be transferring files from your computer to your phone.
