If you are looking to buy a new cell phone, chances are you have been doing some research to find the best cell phone deal. There are plenty of cell phones out there that retail for hundreds of dollars but you probably don’t want to spend that much. There are places you can go to find the best deal like the internet and if you already have cell phone service the carrier you already have service with.

The internet is filled with web sites that offer deals on cell phones. It would take days to go through them all and they all offer comparable prices. The only problem with going through and independent website not affiliated with a cell phone provider is that you may not get a phone that is compatible with your network. Always check out the exact specs of and phone and the legitimacy of the website before buying a phone form a third party inline.

If you do peruse the Cell phone carrier’s websites you will find that you can get a new cell phone for free. Free is the best deal there is but there also is a catch. If you want to get a free cell phone you will usually have to sign up with a new service agreement. If you don’t currently have a cell phone this is not big deal because no matter what cell phone company you go with you will have to sign a service agreement. Just make sure the plan you choose is one that you are happy with as they carry hefty cancellation fees.

If you are an existing cell phone customer but still want a new phone, one of the best places to get a good cell phone deal is the carrier you already have service with, especially if your contract has expired. If you are no longer under contract they will often do just about anything to keep your business including giving you a new phone for free. But be warned, you will have to sign another contract. This is not a big deal if you are happy with your service so check with your cell phone company and see what they will do for you. Even if your contract has not expired, your cell phone company will still probably give you a free or discounted cell phone if you enquire about upgrading, so always ask if you are in the market for anew phone.
